Maggie owns Surroundings and leads the brokerage. She is a real estate and mortgage broker, and she brings the lending and financial perspective to every move.
I'm a real estate and mortgage strategist. Most people see the house, the price and the sign in the yard. I see what's behind it: the numbers, the timing, the paperwork, the loan, the taxes, and how each piece moves the others. That's where good decisions get made, and where expensive ones get made by accident.
I've been originating home loans since 2003 and have run my own real estate business as an independent agent since 2006. In 2023 I opened Surroundings as broker-owner. Because I'm both a real estate broker and a mortgage broker, and I have a degree in health care administration, I can sit down with you and work the whole puzzle at once: how to buy and sell at the same time, whether you can stay home and age in place, what a better move would really cost, and how to use what you've built to get there.
This is the part I love. Very few people have every piece of the puzzle in their own lane, so families often get advice in fragments. My job is to see the whole picture, explain it in plain words, and help you decide with your eyes open. Then Rachel and I, both REALTORS®, carry it through as a team.
